Tony Blair is the keynote speaker at this week’s ISSA Interclean 2010 exhibition in Florida.
The exhibition, a commercial cleaning industry event organised by Amsterdam Rai in association with ISSA, The Worldwide Cleaning Industry Association, takes place at the Orange County Convention Centre from 9 to 11 November.
The organiser credits Blair with transforming Britain's public services “through a programme of investment and reform in schools and hospitals”. It also claims his efforts resulted in “more people receiving faster access to health care”, with improved survival rates for cancer and coronary heart disease.
Attendees were invited to submit questions to help "shape Mr Blair's address".
This year’s Interclean is co-locating with the Building Service Contractors Association International exhibition, running from 11 to 13 November. The event offers building service contractors the latest news on key business strategies and industry trends.
Blair published a report from his Breaking the Climate Deadlock initiative in June 2008, which set out the framework for a new global deal for a low carbon future.
