By the end of 2010, the newly Chinese annual install capacity of wind power generation has increased to 16 million kw. The accumulative install capacity has reached 41.827 million kw. Chinese capacity has surpassed the USA for the first time, becoming the No.1 in the world
In 2009, Chinese accumulative install capacity which is 25.8 million kw has surpassed Germany, becoming the second in the world, but the No.1 USA still had 10 million kw install capacity more than China. In 2010 Chinese wind power generation development has become faster and swifter. The annual install capacity has increased by about 62% comparing with the year 2009. But the US newly increased capacity was merely around 5 million kw. China for the first time became the No.1 in the world
