CNPC Will Co-invest a Refinery in Yunnan with Saudi Aramco

China National Petroleum Corp (CNPC)has signed with Saudi Aramco an agreement that they will co-invest the construction of a refinery in Yunnan province with a dealing capacity of 20000 barrels of crude oil per day. The refinery will be the supporting project of Sino-Myanmar oil pipeline. Saudi Aramco is responsible for oil supply and China National Petroleum Corp is responsible for sales. All the crude oil will be transport to Yunnan through the Sino-Myanmar oil pipeline, and the Sino-Myanmar oil pipeline project will be put to use in 2013.
