Luxembourg’s Per-capita GDP Ranks No.1 Worldwide in 2010

According to the data provided by the International Monetary Fund on April 13th, Luxembourg topped the list with $108,832 in its per-capita GDP, followed by Norway with $84,444, Qatar with $76,168, Switzerland with $67,246 and the United Arab Emirates with $59,717.

 

The figure is based on the nation's GDP, which totaled $1.07 trillion, which was the 15th-largest of 184 countries.

 

Meanwhile, the United States kept its status as the world's largest economy last year with $14.76 trillion in GDP. China came next with $5.88 trillion, trailed by Japan with $5.46 trillion, according to the report.
