Day 1
Morning - on campus lecture on why Las Vegas is the largest Convention Destination in the US.
Afternoon - visit to our Las Vegas Convention Center with a behind the scenes look and informational session on how it is organized.
Morning - on campus lecture on servicing the conventions - speakers from GES and Aramark -explaining how their services support
the conventions with setting up the exhibits and catering to their food needs including banquets
Afternoon - visit to GES to view their equipment , facilities and understand the logistics of setting up a convention.
Morning - lecture on campus - Sales and Marketing. How the city of Las Vegas sells its convention using the latest research in
customer preferences.
Afternoon - tour of the convention center to observe a convention in operation - after viewing the event the group would offer a critique
of the show with top personnel from the convention department .
Day 4
Morning - lecture on campus - "catering to your customers every need" - topic to cover all the different types of convention services
provided by a major hotel from a tea break to a sit down dinner for thousands and other client requests.
Morning lecture - Technology - what technology is being used and the programs that help sell, operate and account for the conventions
Afternoon - On site demonstration on how to turn 4 walls into a gala theme event - professional planners will show how to develop themes for
catered events along with a list of successful themes.
All the above topics will be presented with examples.
