Lee Kum Kee Promotes Hong Kong Creativity Culture

Sponsor Top Fashion Design Students to Exhibit "Taste of Style" Collection in Shanghai "Style Hong Kong Show"

 

Lee Kum Kee hosted the first ever fashion design competition with the topic of "Taste of Style" in Hong Kong this summer to stimulate the taste buds of fashionistas and trendsetters.  Winners display the combination of Chinese and western culture, innovation with traditional Chinese wisdom, and high quality in their outfits which are the brand equities of Lee Kum Kee.

"Lee Kum Kee invented oyster sauce 122 years ago. Now our brand has more than 220 products. We would like to bring our innovation to the next generation. Fashion represents trend setting and creativity. We hosted this competition to encourage students using their imagination to integrate the quintessence of a century-old brand," Mr. Leslie Fung, Executive Vice President -- Corporate Affairs of Lee Kum Kee said.


 

Winner Ms. Hermione Chan shared: "This competition shows me the essence of a century-old brand -- constant innovation but maintaining traditional wisdom, and its contribution to promoting national spirit."



Winner Ms. Abegail Del Sol shared: "This is my first time to Shanghai. In addition to experiencing the City of Life, I can feel the life of Lee Kum Kee. it's reaching the life of everyone, from the kitchen to our daily activities."

Winner Ms. Denise Ng shared: "After visiting the production base of Lee Kum Kee, I realized the importance of choosing the high quality ingredients to develop a renowned brand. I devoted to find the most suitable fabrics and paid attention to the details of my outfits which reflect the commitment of Lee Kum Kee."
