World Tourism Economic Forum Called on to Share Opportunities with the Mainland China

      

BEIJING, May 31, sponsored by the Social Affairs and Culture of the Macao Special Administrative Region Government, the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce authorized Trans Union Tourism Business Association, the World Tourism Economic Research Centre organized the first World Tourism Economic Forum was officially settled Macau.

 

The first “World Tourism Economic Forum will be held at the Macau Tower Convention and Entertainment Center from September 9 to 11. World Tourism Center for Economic Research Chairman and Vice Chairman and Secretary General of World Tourism Economic Forum Pansy Ho said in an interview around the world there is such a forum; to the tourism industry gathered in China, to discuss industry issues and innovative ways more in line with China’s actual needs, but also to establish a model for China’s tourism industry.

 

She believes that Macao’s gaming industry has developed to a high degree of; with the other tourist destinations have been attached importance to the economic benefits of the gaming industry, Macao also has rich tourism resources in addition to gaming outside area at this time should be pondered how to tap more to show the resources that visitors to Macau’s tourism experience is richer, and then are willing to stay longer and continue to return to Macau tourism. In her view, held in Macao, as the first third of this forum, the local tourism industry will be given to stimulate, to find the way of innovation and transformation. Meanwhile, she also hopes to obtain experience in Macau available to the mainland of China as well as other tourist destinations in the world to learn to use.

 

Publicly available data show that from January to February this year, mainland tourists to Macao to 2.78 million people, including tourists from Guangdong Province over 1.4 million people, more than half of the other mainland regions.
